O Level Additional and IP Mathematics

The O Level Additional Mathematics tuition syllabus is intended to prepare students adequately for Singapore A Level H2 Mathematics, where a strong foundation of mathematical skills is essential. The O Level Additional Mathematics tuition syllabus is categorised into three main strands, namely, Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry & Calculus. Students are also required to be proficient in their process skills, namely reasoning, communication and connections, thinking skills and heuristics, applications and modelling. The O Level Additional Mathematics syllabus assumes knowledge of O Level Elementary Mathematics.

Our teaching approach as a maths tuition teacher is to use techniques that are applicable in problem-solving processes found in the real world. This helps students understand mathematical concepts on a more tangible level that will better prepare them for A-Level Math. In our several years of teaching, we have helped countless students realise their potential to excel through A Level Maths tuition. Many students in Singapore struggle with maths, but with the research-backed techniques in our A Level Maths tuition, students can feel confident as they learn at their own pace.

We keep our  A Level Math tuition classes small, capped at 20 students. This ensures that each student receives the best quality teaching and doesn’t get lost in the crowd. If you’d like to read more about our teaching approach and experience, you can visit this page.

In this blog, we will post a series of higher-order thinking (HOT) questions with our worked solutions. This will help expose our students to questions that stretch their thinking and better prepare them for the Real World Context problems during O Level Additional Mathematics Examinations.
