The morning session is for anyone curious about joining Tim Gan Math as a tutor. It offers insights into our work culture and career opportunities.

The afternoon session provides training for eligible new and current tutors at Tim Gan Math, focusing on teaching strategies and professional development.

Here are some of the questions you might have in mind answered.

To teach at the secondary school level, you must achieve an A in H2 Math or excel in TGM’s yearly mock papers.

To teach H2 Math at the A-Level, a relevant bachelor’s degree or MOE training is required.

For tutors with less than 2 years of experience, the starting pay is $35 per hour.

For tutors with more than 2 years of experience, the starting pay is $50 per hour.

Yes, there are! A typical pathway starts with becoming a private tutor. Once you receive positive reviews from parents and students, you may be promoted to take on a class to teach. From there, you can explore becoming a full-time tutor at Tim Gan Math. Additionally, you have the opportunity to grow into roles such as a content developer or curriculum specialist within our team.

Yes, it is mandatory. If you are unable to attend physically, you will need to watch the recording or attend online and complete an online quiz to ensure you’ve understood the material.
