Ms Bridget

Ms Bridget is a third-year undergraduate at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), reading Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. Her engineering training has strengthened the analytical thinking and systematic problem-solving skills she brings to Mathematics lessons. She has taught in both private tutoring and classroom settings, working with students of different learning abilities and academic backgrounds. She has also developed Mathematics learning materials and lesson plans, giving her practical insight into common misconceptions and how to sequence explanations effectively.

Ms Bridget teaches Lower Secondary Mathematics and O-Level Elementary Mathematics. In 1-to-1 lessons, she adapts the pace, explanations, and practice to each student's strengths and areas for improvement. Rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach, she breaks complex concepts into manageable steps before reinforcing them through common question types and varied applications.

She places particular emphasis on helping students recognise recurring question patterns, avoid common mistakes, and apply concepts confidently in unfamiliar scenarios. Her aim is to create a supportive and purposeful learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes, and gradually becoming more independent problem-solvers.
