Ms Yin

Ms Yin Yuan Mei is a former top student of Mr Gan and a Statistics honours graduate from the National University of Singapore (NUS). A River Valley High School graduate who attained A grades in H2 Mathematics and IP Mathematics, she has two years of teaching experience in enrichment centres and private 1-to-1 settings.

Her lessons follow a clear progression: understand the concept, become fluent with the key formulas, then apply both through practice. She helps students understand the reasoning behind a method and when to use it, giving them a clear starting point for tackling questions.

With these foundations in place, Ms Yin guides students through extensive practice across a range of problems. The emphasis is on recognising what a question requires, choosing a suitable method and applying it effectively. Through this progression, she aims to help students build the confidence to use their knowledge in unfamiliar questions.
