Here are the details that matter.
Eligible new learners who book through a valid referral receive one free Question Bank Pass in TGM Study Hub. Verify your booking email, then activate the pass within 30 days of booking whenever you are ready. It gives seven consecutive days of access for your selected maths syllabus, including its configured included syllabi, with photo search, worked solutions and available video explanations. AI Tutor access is not included. The pass cannot be paused, restarted or transferred and has no cash value. Existing paid access is preserved.
Currently enrolled TGM group and 1-to-1 tuition students with active regular enrolment. Alumni, free-account users, trial-only students and self-paced-only course buyers are not eligible for new referrals.
Yes. The reward depends on your friend’s maths level, not yours. An eligible IP, IB, Secondary or 1-to-1 Private Tuition student can refer a friend joining another eligible level.
JC H2 / IB HL covers JC 1 and JC 2 H2 Math, plus IB Higher Level Math in Years 5 and 6. Upper Secondary / IP covers Secondary 3–4 A Math or E Math and Integrated Programme (IP) Years 3–4 Math. Lower Secondary / IP covers Secondary 1–2 Math and IP Years 1–2 Math. The rewards are $100, $70 and $60 per qualifying friend respectively. Your reward follows your friend’s level, not yours; trial availability is checked separately.
They must pay their regular group tuition term in full, and that term must cover at least four paid lessons. A deposit, free trial or standalone HeadStart purchase does not meet this rule. You do not need to wait for them to attend four lessons.
We keep your referral pending. You get the incentive when your friend pays the next qualifying regular term in full. Paying three lessons now and one lesson next term is not enough—the next term must be paid in full.
Only the complimentary trial: JC2 H2 Math, Sec 4 A Math and Sec 4 E Math trials must take place by 30 June of the relevant academic year, including any rescheduled trial. Referral incentives continue all year, even for these levels, when the qualifying term is paid.
Yes. Your friend can receive an eligible group trial, then join regular group tuition. When they pay the qualifying term, your incentive is paid to you via PayNow. The complimentary trial is never a private 1-to-1 lesson.
If your friend has paid the qualifying term, you still get the incentive even if they withdraw; the term payment is non-refundable. When you leave TGM, you cannot offer new complimentary trials, but referrals already booked while you were eligible can still qualify. Already-earned rewards remain payable.
Each qualifying friend earns you $100 for JC H2 / IB HL, $70 for Upper Secondary / IP or $60 for Lower Secondary / IP. Your reward follows your friend’s chosen maths level. There are no milestone bonuses. For friends at different levels, add the reward for each qualifying friend.
- Eligible referrers. Currently enrolled TGM group or 1-to-1 tuition students with active regular enrolment. Alumni, trial-only students, free-account/course-only users and self-paced-only buyers are excluded from new referrals.
- Cross-level referrals. You may refer friends at a different maths level. Reward amounts depend on the referred student’s level. Your friend should book through your personal TGM Study Hub referral link so TGM can record who referred them. Bookings are confirmed after eligibility and available seats are checked.
- Complimentary group trial. The referred friend may receive one eligible group trial, subject to suitable class availability. Private 1-to-1 lessons are not included. Our team can help with prior-trial or returning-student cases before confirming eligibility.
- Question Bank Pass. Each eligible new referred learner receives one free 7-day Question Bank Pass in TGM Study Hub. Verify your booking email and activate the pass within 30 days of booking. Access lasts seven consecutive days from activation for the selected maths syllabus and its configured included syllabi. AI Tutor access is not included. The pass cannot be paused, restarted, renewed, transferred or exchanged for cash or tuition credit. Unused passes expire after the activation deadline. TGM may revoke passes obtained through duplicate accounts, fraud or misuse. TGM may change or end future offers; valid passes already issued remain subject to their stated activation deadline and access period. Existing paid access is preserved.
- Graduating-level cutoff. For JC2 H2 Math, Sec 4 A Math and Sec 4 E Math, a complimentary trial must take place by 30 June of the relevant academic year, including reschedules. From 1 July, complimentary trials for those levels are unavailable. This does not stop referral incentives, which continue throughout the year.
- Qualifying payment. TGM must receive and verify full payment of the friend’s regular group tuition term covering at least four paid lessons in that term. Partial payments and complimentary trials do not qualify. Standalone HeadStart purchases and self-paced courses do not count as regular-term payment.
- Joining near term end. A term with only two or three paid lessons stays pending until the next qualifying regular term is fully paid. Do not combine partial payments across terms to meet the rule. A fully paid regular term covering four or more paid lessons meets the payment condition; attendance of four lessons is not required first.
- Reward groups. JC H2 / IB HL means JC 1–2 H2 Math and IB Higher Level Math in Years 5–6. Upper Secondary / IP means Secondary 3–4 A Math or E Math and Integrated Programme (IP) Years 3–4 Math. Lower Secondary / IP means Secondary 1–2 Math and IP Years 1–2 Math. Rewards follow the referred friend’s level, not the referrer’s; these groups do not guarantee that a trial class is available.
- Referral rewards. Each qualifying paid referral earns $100 for JC H2 / IB HL, $70 for Upper Secondary / IP or $60 for Lower Secondary / IP. Rewards follow the referred friend’s maths level. No milestone bonuses apply.
- Payment to the referrer. Incentives are paid through PayNow or credited against an upcoming tuition invoice. Eligible 1-to-1 Private Tuition students referring a friend who makes the qualifying group-term payment receive their incentive via PayNow. Our team confirms payout details and processing.
- Withdrawal and graduation. Once the friend pays the qualifying term, later withdrawal does not cancel the referral incentive; term payments are non-refundable. When the referrer leaves TGM, new complimentary-trial referrals are no longer available to them. Referrals already booked while eligible may still qualify; already-earned incentives remain payable.
- Programme administration. TGM may review referral records for accuracy and validity and modify or end the programme. Already-earned incentives and accepted referrals are protected as described above. Tuition payment and withdrawal obligations are governed separately by the tuition terms and conditions.
