I somehow, miraculously, managed to scrape past math in secondary school and thought I could do the same for JC too. boy was I wrong. I got so lost in lectures, even more, lost for tutorials, and my math grade was a lost cause. till I signed up for tuition with Mr Gan. Mr Gan helped turn something that made completely no sense to me, to something that was actually pretty logical. he finds patterns among math questions (amazing) and categorises them for you, so you know when to apply which formulas or ideas, and you don’t need to memorise and whack like crazy, and pray you’re applying the right thing. he explains math concepts really well, such that even things like integration that are never supposed to make sense, suddenly do. It gets even cooler with statistics because he shows you how what you learn in stats, can be applied, or are already a part of your daily life.

His lessons really help a lot, especially because he’s usually slightly faster than school, and you’re suddenly able to understand what your lecturers or tutors are saying. and he has an online portal where he uploads his lessons, so you don’t need to worry about losing your math revelations😀.

hahaha I think I’m blabbering too much but, really thank you Mr gan for everything:”-) for making math more enjoyable, and being so approachable (so I can ask so much nonsense about math and not worry). Thank you for your passion for teaching, sometimes I wish I have another year of JC so I can attend more of your math lessons! kidding.
